Does the Oura Ring 4 have an API?

Official REST API (v2) via your own OAuth app (personal tokens were deprecated in Dec 2025). The API needs an active Oura Membership; data download via the Membership Hub doesn't. Home Assistant support is a community (HACS) integration.

• Oura API v2: REST/JSON at api.ouraring.com/v2/usercollection/… (sleep, daily activity/readiness, heart rate, workouts, sessions, tags, SpO2).
• Auth is OAuth2 only. Personal access tokens were deprecated in Dec 2025, so a personal script now needs its own registered API application (apps are limited to 10 users until Oura approves them, which is plenty for personal use).
• Gen3/Ring 4 owners without an active membership cannot use the API at all.
