Scores are never for sale
Data ownership scores come only from our published methodology: APIs, export, open firmware, Home Assistant support and subscription lock-in. Whether a brand has an affiliate program, or what it pays, has no effect on its score, ranking or wording. We link to the official store even when it pays nothing, and we don't accept paid placements.
