Oura Ring 5

Same data story as the Ring 4: official REST API (v2) via your own OAuth app, but Gen3-and-later rings can't use the API without an active Oura Membership ($5.99/mo or $69.99/yr in the US). Data download through the Membership Hub works without one. Home Assistant support is community (HACS) only.

RingConn Gen 3

No subscription for core features, but no public developer API either. Your data leaves the RingConn app only by syncing to Apple Health (iOS 17+) or Health Connect (Android 10+), and RingConn says HRV doesn't sync to Health Connect. Stores up to 10 days of data offline on the ring.
